For a few years now, wired headphones haven’t been the main focus of technology developers. The wireless revolution has led to the creation of a whole range of headphones and headphones/earbuds, and some attribute this change in design philosophy to Apple’s decision to remove the 3.5mm audio jack from its devices a few years ago. But despite this, audiophile-focused Hi-Fi brand Questyle is looking to kickstart a wired headphone renaissance.
This is based on the audio engineering company NHB15 True Lossless HeadphonesArriving in the form of , the device allows you to enjoy 192K high-resolution lossless music from your smartphone, tablet or computer while connecting to your device via a USB-C cable.
The headphones have a funky processing block that lets you know the quality of the music you’re listening to (i.e. 48K or 192K, not whether it thinks your taste in music is good or bad…), except there are silver-plated ones OFC cable is what really sells this wired product.
The NHB15 will cost just under £315, confirming the fact that this wired system isn’t suitable for anyone looking to replace the £10 Skullcandy headphones they bought at the airport three years ago.
