The recent weeks of Ukrainian drone attacks against targets inside Russia have created a headache for the Russian military leadership.

By attacking oil and gas supplies, Ukraine aims to severely disrupt the Kremlin’s revenues, which largely finance the war, The Guardian reports.

The Ukrainian drone strikes have also forced Russia to redeploy air defense resources from the front line inside Ukraine to protect cities and key facilities, according to the newspaper.

As recently as last week, Ukrainian drones struck out the Russian export port of Ust-Luga. The terminal and port in the city are described as important for Russia’s production of fuel for the military, but also as an export port for natural gas to Europe.

On Saturday, Ukraine and Lithuania jointly announced at a press meeting in Kiev that they want to increase the joint production of military drones, writes DN.
