Miguel Oliveira will have an Aprilia RS-GP 24, but the 29-year-old Portuguese doesn’t consider that an advantage…

“First I have to meet everyone, but I’m excited.” The driver from Charneca da Caparica began by saying this at the presentation of the American team in Los Angeles.

“I’m obviously very happy to be in the USA launching this American team in MotoGP. It’s a great pleasure to be part of the Trackhouse family. I can’t wait for the new season to start, new colors, exciting colors, very daring and competitive. I can’t wait to ride the new bike during testing in a few days and get the season started.”

“I’m looking forward to the new bike. For starters, I don’t think the 2024 bike is an advantage. First I need to get to know it and do the basic configuration. But in the long run it should pay off. The team members are more or less the same as last year, but the spirit has changed. It feels good, very performance-oriented.”

“Our headquarters are at the Noale factory. We want to be as directly connected to the factory as possible. The end of the old team (RNF) caught everyone a little off guard, including us, the pilots. But everyone behaved extremely professionally and the transition went very well.”

Miguel Oliveira concluded this morning that he will have his second season with Aprilia and a new bike, unlike his teammate Raul Fernandez, who will provisionally ride an RS-GP from last year.
