The First Vice President of the Iraqi Football Federation, head of the national team delegation, Ali Jabbar, announced that the crisis of tickets for the match between our team and its Vietnamese counterpart has been resolved through coordination with the organizing committee of the Asian Cup, stressing that it is not possible to change the match stadium at the present time.

Jabbar told the (INA) today, Wednesday: “The lack of stadium capacity made it difficult to obtain tickets for the match, especially for the Iraqi fans, so we took the initiative to communicate with the organizing committee and the AFC regarding this issue through the Secretary General of the Federation, and now the organizing committee and the AFC.” They are working to provide a sufficient number of tickets to purchase and distribute them among the fans.”
Jabbar added, “The match is taking place in the scheduled stadium and it cannot be changed because it was designated before the start of the tournament, but in the coming days it will be impossible to agree to play another match on this stadium with the presence of a huge number of Iraqi fans.”
The Iraqi fans in Doha called on the Football Association to find an immediate solution to the crisis of running out of tickets for our national team’s match against Vietnam in the third and final round of the group stage of the Asian Cup, which will be held today at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium at Al Sadd Club, which can accommodate 17,000 spectators.
