Actress, dancer and television host Swasika got married to actor and model Prem Jacob on Wednesday.
Two years ago on the sets of the serial Manam Pole Mangalyam, the love that blossomed came true in an intimate wedding held at the beach resort of Cherai, Kochi.
Swasika arrived at the reception dressed as a Christian bride.
Swasika’s real name is Pooja Vijay. Swasika made her debut with the Tamil film Vaigai. Swasika came to Malayalam in 2010 with the movie Fiddle. Prabhu’s Makkal, Rithvik Roshan in Kattappana, Porinju Mariam Jose and Chaturam are all notable films of Swasika. Swasika also won the state government award for best character actress for the film ‘Vasanti’.
Along with movies, Swasika has also acted in serials. The serials Datputri and Sita made Swasika very popular. The Swasika heroine ‘Vivekanandan Viralan’ hit the theaters last week.
