CS Marítimo lost the game against AVS, 3-2, in Vila das Aves, counting for the 19th round of the II Football League.

AVS opened the scoring, through Nené, 16 minutes into the 1st half. Higor Platiny would score in the 28th minute, through a penalty, beginning the turnaround in the result, since, in the 39th minute, it would be Bica’s turn to score. However, AVS would not allow themselves to be left behind and, again through Nené, equalized the score before the half-time whistle.

Right at the beginning of the 2nd half, the home team was once again ahead of the scoreboard, this time by Vasco Lopes, in the 48th minute. After 80 minutes, Bernardo Gomes managed to score, but the goal ended up being disallowed by the refereeing team, following an offside detected in that move. It could have been a draw for Marítimo.

With this result, the green and red team continue with 31 points, occupying 4th place in the II League. In 5th is Tondela, with 3 points less, but also with one game less, as the match against Académico only takes place at 8:15 pm on Tuesday.
