Barcelona: Former Arsenal captain Pierre Emerick Obamayang joins Spanish club Barcelona. Barcelona acquired the player on the last day of the transfer window. Obamayang joins Spanish club as a free transfer.
Obamayang, Arsenal’s most valuable player, has been told by club officials to leave the club as a free agent. Earlier in December, Obamayang was sacked as Arsenal captain following a disciplinary violation. The player is leaving the club with five months left on his contract with Arsenal. He has not played for Arsenal since. Obamayang has scored 92 goals in 163 appearances for the Gunners.
In addition to Obamayang, Barcelona have also added Ferran Torres and Trevor to the club.
