The Ministry of Taxes informs individuals – payers of the fee for carrying out handicraft activities about changes in tax legislation for 2024
Payers of the fee for carrying out handicraft activities (hereinafter referred to as the fee) are recognized as individuals who carry out handicraft activities in the manner determined by the President of the Republic of Belarus, in respect of whom decisions have been made by local executive and administrative bodies to apply the payment of the fee.
Payment of the fee is made for each calendar month no later than the 1st day of each calendar month, starting from the month following the month the local executive and administrative body made the decision to apply the payment of the fee.
When resuming craft activities suspended in accordance with the procedure established by law, payment of the fee for the month in which the craft activities were resumed is made no later than the date of its resumption.
Payment of the fee stops from the month following the month in which:
craft activities are suspended in accordance with the procedure established by law;
The decision of the local executive and administrative body on the application of payment of the fee has been terminated.
From January 1, 2024, the monthly fee rate is 6.5 Belarusian rubles.
The new rate applies to fees that are due after January 31, 2024.
Payment of the fee for January 2024 due on January 3, 2024 is made at the old rate of 6 Belarusian rubles.
