It may be that in Attica the snowfall was not so intense as to dress it in white, but in some areas of the basin towards the north, the snow fell thickly, resulting in a postcard-like landscape.
One of these areas is the Hippocratic State. From early in the morning young and old rushed to Lake Beletsi for a few carefree moments in the snow. It is reminded that from Monday evening it is mandatory for all vehicles moving in Attica to have anti-skid chains with them.
