Västtrafik Bus Stuck at Level Crossing: Nearly Causing Accident on Hisingen

One of Västtrafik’s buses got stuck between the barriers at a level crossing at Hisingen at 4pm on Wednesday.

– There was almost an accident earlier today. I don’t know what happened, but luckily the train stopped, says Jonatan Nord Ekfeldt at Västtrafik’s emergency call.

The Swedish Transport Administration and the police were called to the scene and a report of negligence in traffic was drawn up.

– At the moment, no suspicion of crime has been reported, we are handing this over to the Traffic Police, who can investigate further, says Hans-Jörgen Ostler, the police’s spokesperson.
