Former Indian cricketer Prashant Vaidya. He played 4 ODIs for India in the 1990s. Vaidya is currently the Chairman of Vidarbha Cricket Association’s Cricket Development Committee.

However, he has been arrested in a check fraud case. He reportedly bought the steel from a local trader. He gave the payment as a cheque. However, the check bounced due to insufficient funds in his bank account.

After that, the merchant asked for payment. The cricketer reportedly refused to pay. So the dealer approached the court. Legal action was taken against him for avoiding court hearings.
