Rajinikanth is happy that he got one of the biggest hits of his career last year. Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is a film that has attracted all sections of the audience equally. The shooting of Rajinikanth’s film Vettaiyan, which is the next after Jailer, is in its final stages. The final schedule of the film directed by Jai Bheem director TJ Gnanavel started two days ago in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh. Along with Rajinikanth, Fahad Fazil and Rana Daggubati are also acting in this schedule. Pictures and videos from the Kadapa location are circulating on X.
Along with Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil has already joined the Kadapa schedule. Preparations for shooting some action sequences can also be seen in the released location videos. The final schedule is expected to be completed in a few weeks. This film will hit the screens this summer.

Vettaiyan, which is believed to be based on a true story, stars Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Fazil and Manju Warrier along with Amitabh Bachchan playing a role in the film. Rajini and Bachchan reuniting after 33 years is one of the USPs of the film. Rajinikanth plays the role of a policeman in the film. Amitabh Bachchan is coming as the Chief Police Officer. This film is produced by Lyca Productions. Anirudh is the music director.

Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj will direct Rajinikanth’s post-Vettaiyan film. Earlier there were reports that Rajinikanth’s film Urakku Mari Selvaraj will be next.
