A former Parisian will return to PSG. More than seven years after his departure from the capital club, Benjamin Stambouli will play again in Ligue 1. Free since his termination of contract with Adana Demirspor – who also parted ways with M’Baye Niang and Younès Belhanda – while he had however extended last summer, the 33-year-old former Montpellier player will end the season with Reims.

Looking for a midfielder since the departure of Azor Matusiwa to Rennes, the Champagne club will therefore have in its ranks Benjamin Stambouli who will undergo his medical examination before signing a contract this Thursday which runs until the end of the season . The current 6th in Ligue 1 should therefore conclude his transfer window, having signed Sergio Akieme from Almeria for 3 and a half years for a sum of 7.5 million euros (+2.5), this Wednesday. To make room for the 26-year-old Spanish defender, Reims must resolve the Josh Wilson-Esbrand case. The latter, who arrived from Manchester City, could see his loan terminated.
