Abu Dhabi ∙ Heavy rain has fallen in some parts of Abu Dhabi, according to the Meteorological Center. UAE is experiencing cloudy skies, light rain and low temperatures. Sky is cloudy in Dubai since morning. Light rain fell in parts of Chile, including urban areas.
Al Ain, Al Dhafra, Khalifa City, Al Aryam Island and Al Watba received heavy rain. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather warning. Rain clouds are expected to develop over the country till 6 pm today (Friday). NCM will also conduct regular cloud seeding to ensure maximum rainfall in the country.
NCM constantly monitors the moisture content. While light rain is expected in various parts of the country, it is also expected that the northern and eastern regions may receive more rain. A moderate wind will blow. Strong at times, especially over seas.
Dust storm is also likely in coastal areas. This reduces visibility on roads. The Meteorological Center has warned that the sea is very rough in the Arabian Gulf. But tomorrow (Saturday) is expected to be clear.
