A comprehensive interview was given by Paschalis Tsarouhas on the ERT Studio 4 show on Friday afternoon.
The protagonist of “Land of Olives”, among other things, referred to an incident with a female fan who crossed the line and put him in a difficult position:
“This morning I became abrupt. I was on the road this morning with my brother and we are trying to get along, me on the motorcycle and him standing up. And a lady comes and asks for my autograph. I tell her I don’t have an autograph, she says ok I’ll wait. But I tell her I don’t have an autograph, what should I do? And he asks me ‘why don’t you have one?’ Because people see us on TV, while scratching their noses or washing dishes, they think that if they see you on the street, they’ll slap you too. It’s not like that, though.
There must be a limit. Should I be kind to everyone? I don’t feel the need to offend anyone but I do feel the need to protect myself. We were discussing something very serious with my brother, a health issue and the other comes and asks for an autograph and insists. But you’re a fool! I can’t do stupidity. We are normal people” concluded Paschalis Tsarouhas.
