There is currently sadness and dismay in Holzhausen (Wels-Land district) after the incumbent mayor Andreas Ströbitzer (ÖVP) died of a heart attack on Friday.
The local leader of the community of 1,013 residents, who was elected to office in 2021, died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Friday.
The 45-year-old leaves behind a partner and two children.
