The Pijao team defeated Embajador 2-0 at home at the Manuel Murillo Toro stadiumon the third date of the round-robin phase of the local championship.
The team led by David González took advantage of the defensive errors presented by the visiting team and he scored both goals in the first half with scores from Carlos Castro and Yeison Guzmán.
The first goal came in the 28th minute after a recovery in the midfield and a weak intervention by goalkeeper Álvaro Monterowho, faced with a Pijao shot, could not deflect a ball that did not have much power.
