According to reports from the Popayán Police, known and disseminated by Semana, the conflict was triggered when the active Sijín official discovered his partner in the company of another man, who turned out to be a former member of the same institution, at his home.
As announced by the aforementioned media, the Popayán Police have placed the man victim of infidelity under psychological support after being involved in a situation that has caught the attention of social networks and the authorities. The measure was taken after some videos related to an alleged infidelity by his partner went viral.

This situation was immortalized in recordings that were later widely disseminated on the Internet, provoking a wave of reactions. In response to the emotional impact caused by this event, the Police in Popayán has provided psychological support to the affected officer, thus attempting to facilitate his recovery from the trauma experienced.

As the events unfolded, the woman involved proceeded to take legal action, filing a complaint for defamation against the member of the Sijín before the Attorney General’s Office. This complaint is based on evidence extracted from Facebook, where the official allegedly shared the content documenting the confrontation, accompanying its dissemination on other digital platforms.
Additionally, the complainant accused the man of verbal aggression during the incident, as well as threatening to make public the videos recorded at that turbulent moment. As a result of its viralization, the case has sparked an intense debate among Internet users, with some criticizing the actions of those involved and others addressing the situation with humor through memes.
According to several videos recorded by the same man, a member of the Sijín, when he arrived home, he found the scene starring his wife and a colleague from the same institution.

“I get home and I find my wife with this little friend. What a nice companion I have from Sijín, right? Thank you,” the video begins, recording that there were two motorcycles in his house, one of them apparently belonging to the other man.
While facing his wife, the man who was unfaithful walks around the room until he moves a curtain, an element that his partner uses to hide.
“It was his wife,” is what the man with whom he was unfaithful responds. Throughout the video, the victim of this infidelity constantly thanks the woman and her lover and questions them if they have anything to say about it. Furthermore, from this man’s words, it is known that his wife’s name is Sara.
The escalation of the conflict led other officers to appear at the scene, although by then the alleged lover was no longer at the scene, but left his motorcycle as evidence of his presence. Then, another man, apparently the wife’s brother, appears on the scene, while the woman urges her husband to leave the home and return the next day for her belongings, a request he rejects.
