Double wall: The infant who died was malnourished – Custody of another child had been taken away

The infant aged 4 months who had been brought dead to the hospital of Didymoteicho, was malnourished, as the forensic examination revealed, and for this reason he looked younger than his actual age.

As reported by ERT, the finding shows an inflow of gastric milk into the respiratory tract.

According to the report, about 5 years ago, the first-born child of the same family, a three-year-old girl at the time, had been taken to the hospital with mouse bites.

The child had undergone reconstructive plastic surgery, custody had been taken away from the parents and since then in an institution in Athens.

Next week, the parents are expected to testify at the Didymoteicho police station about the infant’s death.
