(Reuters) – Lojas Marisa (BVMF:) announced this Sunday that Andrea Menezes will be the company’s new executive president, taking the place of João Pinheiro Nogueira Batista, who is also leaving his position as director of investor relations.
The company also informed that Roberta Ribeiro Leal, current financial director, will hold the position of IR director.
“From now on, Lojas Marisa begins a new phase dedicated to its commercial repositioning,” said the fashion retailer in a statement.
Menezes is currently an independent member of the board of directors and, according to the company, an angel investor for more than ten years. In addition to her background in finance, she has experience in positions at the c-level of companies, focusing on governance, ESG and innovation.
