A few days ago, an extension was officially announced for applications to the heating allowance for electricity, which expires on Monday, February 5.
This is a subsidy for households that use air conditioners, electric heaters or electric radiators for heating.
Those interested must apply through the AADE myHeating platform (HERE) to receive the subsidy as a discount on their bill.
452,138 applications have been submitted for the electricity heating subsidy, while it is estimated that they will hardly reach 500,000 by the end of the deadline, as many households refrained from submitting an application in order not to be excluded from the social tariff (KOT).
