The Merengue team, current leader of the standings, has just won 2-0 against Getafe thanks to a double from Joselu, who scored in the 14th and 56th minutes of the match. With this duel, those led by Carlo Ancelotti once again took the lead, after beating Girona by two points.
Atlético de Madrid also comes from a victory, since they beat Rayo Vallecano 2-1 with the scores of Reinildo Mandava and Memphis Depay for the Colchoneros and the discount of Álvaro García for the Rayito.
