Dhee and Santhosh Narayanan’s Malayalam Debut with ‘Anveshipin Athupum’

South India’s notable director Santhosh Narayanan and singer Dhee have welcomed the Malayalam film by singing the song ‘Vituthal’ from the Tovino Thomas starrer ‘Anveshipin Athupum’. The first song ‘Vituthal’ of the movie, which is going to be a collaboration between Darwin Kuriakos and Tovino Thomas, was released by the crew last day. The film is slated for a theatrical release on February 9.

Now the words shared by Dhee as an Insta story about her Malayalam debut have gone viral. “For the first time in my life, I sang in Malayalam and I really liked it. It’s a very special song for me because it’s with Santhosh Narayan and with Afro. It is my first song in Malayalam. A big thank you to Darwin Kuriakos for teaching you this beautiful language, and to Muhsin Parari for the lyrics,” Dhee noted.

This song has taken over the social media as ‘Vituthal’ is the first Malayalam song by the ‘Enjoy Njami’ collaboration which has become a worldwide hit. The song has been sung by Dhee and Afro with lyrics by noted screenwriter and lyricist Muhsin Parari composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Glorifying determined minds, struggles and bravery, the song will burn in the hearts of the audience.

Santosh Narayanan, who made his debut in the film industry in 2012 with ‘Attakathi’, has already starred in ‘Pisa’, ‘Sudhukavum’, ‘Jigarthanda’, ‘Iraivi’, ‘Kabali’, ‘Pariyerum Perumal’, ‘Vada Chennai’, ‘Gypsy’, ‘Karnan’, All of them have been a part of many hit films like ‘Sarpatta Sargai’, ‘Mahan’, ‘Dasara’, ‘Chitta’, ‘Jigerthanda Double X’. He has also given hits like Enjoy Njami, Mamadhura, Mainaru Vetti Katti and Unak Than, which has been ruling the reels recently. So the audience is eager to know what wonders Santhosh Narayanan has hidden in this Tovino film in terms of music and background music.

Directed by Darwin Kuriakos, the film is produced under the banner of Theater of Dreams and features Dolwin Kuriakos, Jinu V. It is produced by Abraham, Vikram Mehra and Siddharth Anand Kumar. Screenplay is by Jinu V Abraham. After the great success of Prithviraj’s film ‘Kappa’, ‘Anveshipin Anthupum’ is also a film produced by Theater of Dreams. The film is presented on a broad canvas with a huge star cast and many action-packed moments. Apart from Tovino, the film also stars Siddique, Indrans, Shammi Thilakan Baburaj, Pramod Veliyanad, Vineeth Thattil and Ramya Suvi (Nanpakal Nereth Mayakkam fame). The film has two heroines. The heroines are newcomers.
