Dubai: The first edition of the Dai Dubai Art Lights Festival, which showcased the emirate’s heritage through seven light installations, concluded on Sunday. Sheikha Latifah bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and Member of Dubai Council, attended the closing ceremony of the event. Sheikha Latifah praised the creativity of Emirati artists. Apart from light installations, various art and cultural programs and workshops for children were staged as part of the festival. The festival was started to provide a better platform for Emirati artists to showcase their work. After the huge success of the first edition, the dates for the second edition have also been announced. Sheikha Latifah also announced that the second edition of the Dai Dubai Art Lights Festival will be held from January 26 to February 4 next year.
