British King Charles has been diagnosed with a form of cancer and will postpone his public appearances, Buckingham Palace said in a statement on Monday.
Charles, 75, spent three nights in hospital last month after having a corrective procedure for an enlarged prostate when a separate health issue was noted, according to the palace.
The palace added that tests had identified a type of cancer.

The palace has not given any details about Charles’ cancer, but a royal source said it is not prostate cancer.
