Kozhikode: Tamil-Kannada film actress Akshara Reddy has been questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with gold smuggling. The interrogation started at 10.30 am on Thursday at the Kozhikode ED office and ended at 6.30 pm.
The actress, who was released after questioning, did not respond to media queries. Akshara Reddy was summoned for allegedly having financial dealings with Fayaz, the main accused in the Nedumbassery gold smuggling case. ED officials said they would call more if necessary.
