64.49 percent of all votes – that’s how big the lead of No Angels jungle star Lucy Diakovska was over her competitor Leyla Lahouar. The singer has now won the jungle crown and joins a majestic line of jungle monarchs: Before Diakovska, Costa Cordalis, Désirée Nick, Melanie Müller and thirteen other more or less famous celebrities sat on the throne Down Under (and once in South Africa).

Lucy doesn’t fly high from the start
While the voting results remained secret during the current season, those watching in front of the television as well as the campers in the jungle had to be surprised. Now RTL has published the previously secret data. And they show: Victory was not in sight for Lucy Diakovska for a long time. It wasn’t until February 1st, the 13th day in the jungle camp, that their poll numbers rose.

After the first few days in the camp decided who had to complete as many of the disgusting jungle tests as possible, from January 27th it was all about expulsion. And it became clear early on that influencer Twenty4Tim was able to convince his fans. But online fame is very fragile – and not very sustainable. So Tim ended up on the podium, but it wasn’t enough for the final duel.
Things also went well at the beginning for vacuum cleaner representative and audience favorite Fabio Knez and finalist Leyla Lahouar, but in the end they couldn’t beat 47-year-old Lucy either. Interesting: On day twelve, the turning point for Diakovska, letters from family and friends arrived at the camp. And Lucy not only appeared genuinely touched, but also motivated her touched fans to vote.

And emotion was probably the order of the day, at least on January 31st – the day on which Mike Heiter provided a lot of fuel for the jungle flirtation with competitor Leyla. In the first week, voters are traditionally not concerned with the greatest prestige – but with seeing the celebrities suffer. The starlets were able to be chosen for the jungle tests for eight days – and the picture was slightly different than in the second week. At the beginning, many fans voted for Twenty4Tim because he started the jungle camp so motivated.

But the passion for pictures of crying celebrities quickly took over. On the third day, 48.26 percent of viewers voted for Leyla; a huge lead that meant she had to master the exam on her own.
But day by day in the first week, the percentages for Kim Virginia also climbed. In addition to the desire for emotions, those watching apparently also showed a clear moral compass – at least when it comes to punishment. And so at the end of the week Kim ended up in four jungle tests. Justice will probably still prevail, at least in the jungle camp.
