Since the turn of the year, around ten children and young people have been in the hospital and treated for drug poisoning.
It worries – and now several doctors warn of a drug situation that could escalate.
– We think there are an alarming number of cases in a short time and we are worried that this will continue, says doctor Laura Mertes.

ST has recently written about several children and young people in Sundsvall who have been taken to hospital after eating drug cake and smoking vape cigarettes, but it is not only the patients who have entered Sundsvall’s hospital for drug poisoning.
