Today, for the first time, there was a meeting between the President of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo da Silva, and a delegation of the abductees’ families that is now in Portugal, which was organized by the Israeli Embassy in Portugal.
The meeting was attended by representatives of 7 families who are currently on a mission in the country, and told the president their personal story about each and every abductee and the story of his brutal abduction.
Throughout the meeting, the president addressed the families and said that it was important for him to meet with them and hear their story first hand, with all the pain they are going through and even promised that Portugal would exert the necessary pressure and its connections in order to release all of the abductees.
