According to Ziggy, the film will show the public many sides that no one knows about yet. Bob Marley: “They will see these sides [em One Love] and they will connect with it all.”

In the letter, Ziggy highlights that his father took music seriously. Read the translation:

“How are you there? We haven’t seen each other for a long time.

I miss everything [sobre você], but, mainly, your presence. I hear you. His songs are always playing, when I go to mom’s house, there’s music playing. Bob is playing. Music is always around.

You were so young, but you did more than I ever could. And the film is another way for you to deliver more. Kingsley [Ben-Adir] It brings out a strong emotional side of you that people don’t normally see. There are times when we think, ‘Yes, that’s exactly Dad.’ You would laugh, but one of those proud laughs.

I admired your discipline. I inherited that from you and the seriousness with which you took music, art. It was really inspiring.

We are spiritual people – everything we do is part of the whole. It’s like we are part of you and you are part of us. We are one. We speak with our love and not with words. We don’t need to say much – we can just feel.

My smile is honoring you. I laugh, and it sounds like your laugh. Pieces of you are part of me. You would love to be a grandfather. I see a little of you [nos meus filhos] sometimes. It’s beautiful to see. And happy. Grandchildren get a piece of you through us. Everything we do is connected to you.”
