Advance sales for the Adele concerts in Munich have started. People who have already purchased a ticket are now trying to profit from it: they are selling their tickets at outrageous prices.
Munich – Advance sales for Adele in München has just started – and private individuals are already trying to make their own profit from it: Up kleinanzeigen.de A user offers the concert tickets for 999 euros – plus shipping costs on top. And this despite the fact that it cannot even offer a guarantee that the tickets will actually be delivered. Other users also want to resell their tickets directly: sometimes for sums between 1,000 and 2,000 euros.
Adele tickets for just under 1000 euros: “I think that’s fair”
“I registered for Adele’s presale for Munich and can therefore buy tickets before anyone else,” writes the user under her ad for 999 euros. “If you are interested, please let me know.” You can then look together to see which places are still available and choose the best category. The catch – apart from the overpriced price: Just because you have registered in advance for advance sales and have a login code does not guarantee a ticket. This is what it says on Adele’s official website.

Our editorial team asked the user under an alias whether she was actually charging 999 euros for a single ticket. “No, no, that’s just a pseudo price. Yes, of course, I’ll sell them cheaper too. I would like to have two myself now and then I would buy two more and then sell them.” She charges 100 euros more per ticket than in official sales. “I think that’s fair, all the other prices here are ridiculously high and I don’t want to make a profit out of it.”

Hundreds of private sales for Adele concerts in Munich already online
She’s not entirely wrong: A quick search for “Adele Tickets” in classifieds alone brings up more than 200 advertisements on Wednesday afternoon, February 7th: Some fans are looking for tickets, but many who have already been successful want theirs expensive keep selling. One user charges a total of 2,200 euros for four seats in the front stall, another 1,250 euros for two platinum tickets in the back stall. In some cases, 600 euros are charged even for four seats in the rearmost seating area. In some cases, people are even offering to stay in a hotel during the concert in Munich.
The official ticket prices are also tough, but they are significantly lower than private sales: they are between 74.90 euros for seats in the back rows, 419.90 for standing rooms directly in front of the stage and up to 689 euros for so-called platinum tickets.
