The Walt Disney Company plans to acquire a stake in Epic Games, which develops computer games, including Fortnite, for $1.5 billion. The Disney press service said that it plans to create a new “game and entertainment universe” together with Epic Games.
The press release states that the game universe will be connected to Fortnite. Its users are promised the opportunity to play, watch, shop and interact with the content that will fill this universe.
