Alappuzha: A young man died after being hit by a police jeep scooter. The deceased is Sani Baby (29), a native of Edatva. The accident took place near Lourdes Mata Hospital in Pacha at 8.30 pm. The scooter was hit by a jeep in which the CI of Alappuzha South Station was traveling.

Sani Baby was going to participate in the festival function at Pacha Chekidikad Church.
