Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) announces the arrival of Helldivers™ 2 on PlayStation®5 and PC (Steam). The title is now available at both the usual points of sale, such as PlayStation®Store and PlayStation Direct, and has a Standard Edition, available in physical and digital format for €39.99*, and a Super Citizen Edition, available in digital format for €59.99.
In Helldivers™ 2 players have the opportunity to join up to three friends and unleash chaos in an alien calamity that threatens the safety of Super Earth, their home planet.
In this multiplayer co-op shooter for PlayStation®5 from Arrowhead Game Studios, players will step into the boots of the Helldivers, elite soldiers whose mission is to spread peace, freedom and Lead Democracy using the most impressive and explosive tools in the galaxy.
Helldivers do not enter planets without proper reinforcements, but it is up to players to decide how and when to call them. Not only will they have access to super-powerful primary weapons and customizable equipment, but they will also have the ability to call in stratagems during the game.
Helldivers™ 2 features Arrowhead’s best co-op gameplay to date. Here, collaboration will be vital, and teams will have to create synergy with equipment, plan how they will execute missions and complete objectives together.
