The Hall of Chamber and Organ Music of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev in Baku presented a performance by the laureate of republican and international competitions, violin performer Sultan Kerimov, Day.Az reports.
The young musician performed accompanied by the Cadenza Contemporary Orchestra (the artistic director of the orchestra is Turkar Gasimzade). Guitarist Raul Huseynov also performed during the concert program.
The program featured works by Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Sebastian Bach, Niccolo Paganini, Pablo de Sarasate, and George Gershwin. While performing the works, the violinist subtly felt the composers’ intentions and was able to sincerely and soulfully convey the depth and beauty of these works. The sound of the violin was very expressive. The audience greeted each musical number of the program with thunderous applause.
