Unanswered questions of 16 years

Mr. President, these words belong to you, right? “Today we are following the path of democracy. In Azerbaijan, all freedoms – freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of conscience, freedom of assembly are fully ensured. However, a group calling itself the opposition, which tries to use the freedom of free assembly, believes that some artificial obstacles are being created against them. At that time, who shut down all the independent media organizations of the country, put free pen holders in jail, and expelled them from the country? Who closed the squares to the people who wanted to hold an action, arrested hundreds of political activists, and brutally beat the opposition leaders? Aren’t you the one who has been writing the constitution as you want, breaking it as you want, and writing it as you want for sixteen years?
Is Aliyev running from his lies or from us?
If you haven’t forgotten, you said this during your visit to Great Britain 6 years ago: “We have chosen the path of European integration. You refuse because you are not allowed to continue the family monarchy. Then what direction will you integrate? Do you like Russia or North Korea as a totalitarian? There are many questions, Mr. President, very many. Even if you run from us, we will always follow you.
