The São Paulo squad trained on the afternoon of this Thursday (8), the day after the 3-0 victory over Água Santa, starting preparation for Saturday’s game (10), against Ponte Preta, at 6pm, at Moisés Lucarelli, for the seventh round of the Campeonato Paulista.
The technical committee opened the day by showing a video to the players inside the Barra Funda CT. Afterwards, there was a warm-up led by the physical trainers and a confrontation activity in a short space, with two-on-one situations.
Finally, Thiago Carpini and his assistants divided the group into three teams, which faced each other on a reduced field, first with limited touches on the ball and later without. The waiting team served as “support”, with a joker and the others next to the goalposts.
The athletes who played longer in Wednesday’s game (7) did lighter activities indoors. There were no updates on the internship of athletes who have not been performing.
