At the border of Belarus with the European Union, queues of cargo transport have grown by a third since the beginning of the week

The Border Committee of Belarus reported that more than 900 trucks are standing in queues at the border with EU countries.

“The route through the Lithuanian Medniki (Kamenny Log) remains the most congested, where only 17% of heavy goods vehicles from the norm were allowed to enter the European Union in one day,” the Border Committee of Belarus reported.

According to Belarusian border guards, on average, 58% of trucks from the norm passed through the border crossings of Poland (Kukuriki) and Latvia (Paternieki) per day.

Insignificant queues of passenger vehicles were recorded at the entrance to Lithuania and Poland.
