– With today’s announcement of new group management, we have taken an important step in the direction of launching Schibsted Media as a new company. We are building a business that will lead the way in the Nordic media industry, says the incoming CEO in one press release.
Schibsted is facing major changes in the company structure. On 11 December, they announced that the group will be split into two: a pure media company, which is not on the stock exchange and is owned by the Tinius foundation, and a publicly listed marketplace company.
Tveitnes was previously CEO of Schibsted’s news media department, and thus brings this role to the spin-off company. Before this, she was, among other things, managing director of Bergens Tidende.
