Abu Dhabi: U.A.E. Nora Al Matrushi, the first female astronaut, will graduate on the 5th of next month, NASA officials said.
The graduation ceremony will be held on March 5 (Tuesday) at 7.30 am local time. Colleague and former Dubai Police helicopter pilot Mohammed Al Mualla and 11 other astronauts from the United States will graduate on the same day.
The degree will also be eligible to participate in the Lunar Gateway missions to the International Space Station. They started training at the Johnson Space Center in 2021. They have participated in many training programs like space station systems, wearing space suit, flight training, space walk and geology field training. The rigorous training program aims to prepare them to perform various experiments and survive in space.
