In August 2021, Paris FC was very close to signing Finnish international defender Daniel O’Shaughnessy. But his club HJK Helsinki finally blocked him and he joined Karlsruhe (Bundesliga 2) the following December. The 23-year-old Finnish international (2 caps) was offered to coach Stéphane Gilli and the sports management via an intermediary. “It was a contact in France who contacted my agents to tell us about Paris FC,” explains Tuomas Ollila, who was also followed by Le Havre (L1) and Eredivisie clubs (D1) in the Netherlands.
