Minister Dinkova will attend the opening of the Skiing World Cup in Bansko
The Ministry of Tourism supports and will continue to be among the active supporters of the development of winter sports in Bulgaria. It is the huge investments and efforts in our winter resorts that have turned our country into an established destination for winter sports, the press center of the ministry announced.
In 2024, for the first time in its history, Bulgaria hosts the Alpine Ski World Cup and the Snowboard World Cup in one season. Fully deserved, because since 2003, Bansko, Borovets, Pamporovo and Osogovo have also received 13 European Cups in alpine skiing and snowboarding, which were also held at the highest level.
It is expected that the starts in Bansko will be followed by about 200 million people from the small screen, and this is a great recognition for everyone in the public and private sector, because the best alpine people already recognize our winter resorts as one of the best not only in Europe, but also in the world.
Minister Zaritsa Dinkova will attend the official opening ceremony of the Skiing World Cup in Bansko, and tomorrow she will award the prize winners of the competition.
