British royal family expert and former BBC journalist Tom Bower said King Charles III may refuse conventional cancer treatment drugs.

As Day.Az reports with reference to Lenta.ru, the Daily Express reports this.

According to Bower, Charles III was always opposed to chemotherapy and preferred alternative medicine. “He’s a big believer in natural herbs and potions and things like that,” says the expert.

Bower believes that the king will turn to the English doctor Michael Dixon, who has been acting as chief court physician since 2023. Like Charles III, Dixon believes that diseases are best treated using unconventional methods.

“I assume that the king is currently taking advice from a man named Michael Dixon, whom he has supported for many years and who runs his – the king’s – own institute of alternative medicine and natural healing methods. Many consider him a failure, but the king believes in him,” – notes Bower.

It became known on February 5 that Charles III was diagnosed with cancer. According to Buckingham Palace, the disease was discovered in the 75-year-old monarch during treatment procedures related to prostate enlargement.
