Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli military has destroyed several “terrorist units” during fighting in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Day.Az reports with reference to TASS.
“Troops continue intensive operations in Khan Younis (a city in the southern part of the Gaza Strip), as well as in the northern and central parts of the Gaza Strip,” the statement said. In Khan Yunis, “the IDF conducted targeted raids on terrorist targets,” the press service continued, noting that “within 24 hours, troops destroyed several terrorist units” in the western part of the city. “The military is destroying terrorists, discovering a large number of weapons, and in parallel the Air Force continues to strike terrorist targets,” the military added.
“In the central part of the Gaza Strip, IDF troops have been killing and detaining terrorists over the past 24 hours,” the army department continued. “During the operation, troops discovered an armed terrorist squad in the area and destroyed them by returning fire on the terrorists.”
