On the initiative and project of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev in Uzbekistan, seminars on the topic of culture and literature of Azerbaijan were organized at the Center of Azerbaijani Culture and Literature named after Huseyn Javid, opened at the Nukus State Pedagogical University named after Ajiniyaz of the Republic of Karakalpakstan of Uzbekistan, Day.Az reported in the press. At the seminar, an exchange of views took place on cultural and literary ties between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, literary ties between Nizami Ganjavi, Alisher Navoi and Muhammad Fizuli, poets who created works influenced by their creativity.
Director of the Center for Azerbaijani Culture and Literature named after Huseyn Javid Feruza Salamova informed students about the projects being implemented recently in the direction of Uzbek-Azerbaijani cultural and literary ties. She made a report on publications on Azerbaijani literature donated to the ACC Center, a number of interesting books were discussed, and publications were presented to students.
It should be noted that the Center for Azerbaijani Culture and Literature named after Huseyn Javid constantly organizes lectures and seminars on Azerbaijani-Uzbek literary relations, as well as open classes dedicated to the common values of the two peoples.
A mini-library on Azerbaijan has been created at the Center, where readers are presented with publications in Azerbaijani and Uzbek languages dedicated to the history, culture, literature of Azerbaijan, the life and work of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, the economic, political and cultural achievements of Azerbaijan under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.
