District Prosecutor’s Office – Stara Zagora brought as accused S.N. aged 31, for the fact that on 10.02.2024, Saturday, in the city of Stara Zagora, he transmitted a false call to 112 from a telephone set with a localized location in Stara Zagora, quarter “Tri chuchura – center” alarm, namely – about a planted explosive device (bomb) in the building of the municipality of Gorna Oryahovitsa. It was followed by an evacuation and an inspection in the building of the municipality of Gorna Oryahovitsa, and the presence of a planted explosive device (bomb) was not detected. This is reported from today by the Appeals Prosecutor’s Office in Plovdiv.
On 10.02.2024, a call was received from a landline number to 112 that an explosive device (bomb) had been placed in the building of the municipality of Gorna Oryahovitsa. The place from which the report was filed was located as such in Stara Zagora, and after conducting the initial actions of the investigation, evidence was collected for the perpetrator S.N. On the same date, he was charged and detained for up to 72 hours by decree of the duty prosecutor. Police officers from RU – Gorna Oryahovitsa carried out an inspection and found that the report was false. S.N. has pending court proceedings for the same type of crime.
The District Prosecutor’s Office – Stara Zagora is about to submit to the court a request to determine a measure of remand “detention in custody” against S.N.
