At least five violations are visible in the clip posted by Miss Silicon, beyond the proven driving under the influence of cocaine. This is what Vladimir Todorov from the Bulgarian Association of Accident Victims told “This Morning”.
“She’s on the phone, which is forbidden. He drives without a seat belt. He has a pet on his lap, which is extremely dangerous. It also drives hands-free. All these are gross violations of traffic rules,” he explained.
We remind you that “Miss Silicon” Katrin Yordanova published another video on social networks in which she drives at an excessive speed in Sofia. A sticker with the inscription “Republic of Bulgaria – National Assembly” can be seen on the car window, which is usually found on parliamentary cars. Katrin Yordanova was later arrested for driving under the influence of cocaine.
“In our country, it is regulated that only the stickers allowed by law can be on the windshield of the car – for example, one for civil liability. Whether the National Assembly sticker on Katrin Yordanova’s car is authentic – that will be established by other bodies. If the car is not hers, then the responsibility should be sought from someone else,” Vladimir Todorov also pointed out.
He commented that the possible punishment for Katrin Yordanova will be very severe and recalled that the car is confiscated for driving under the influence of drugs. “If the car is not hers, its BGN equivalent must be paid by her. She will be deprived of her driver’s license and will pay a fine of BGN 2,000,” Todorov further explained.
He explained that they are submitting a report to the District Prosecutor’s Office – Sofia, because this is the only way to counteract this kind of dangerous behavior on the road. According to him, the traffic police have limited powers when it comes to video violations of the law.
“The appointed expertise will prove that it was she who drove the car. Tattoos will be compared, other circumstances and facts will be considered. Katrin Yordanova can go to prison for three years,” Todorov explained to bTV.
