According to the results of the survey, 87% of those surveyed considered that the former president who died in Lago Ranco was a man of dialogue and that he achieved great agreements.
Regarding the great milestones during their two governments, 52% mentioned the management during the pandemic; 49% favored the rescue of the 33 miners, and 30% highlighted the reconstruction after the 2010 earthquake.
Furthermore, 56% of those consulted by Cadem estimate that the achievements of Sebastián Piñera’s governments will compensate for their failures, compared to 37% who believe that their failures will exceed their achievements.
Regarding how respondents estimate the former president will go down in history, 41% said better than average, while 36% said he will be like a great president.
Cadem and the evaluation of President Gabriel Boric
On the other hand, the latest Cadem survey established that 61% of those who took part disapprove of the leadership of the government by President Gabriel Boric. This represents one point less than in the previous survey.
Regarding the approval of the head of state, this reaches 31 percent, two points less than in the previous survey.
The Cadem survey also revealed that 55% disapprove of the way the government has acted in the fire emergency in the Valparaíso Region.
