A patent application by the Lenovo company presents us with a technological and creative solution to a problem known to many, which is the limited display size in mobile computers. Many who own and use a laptop testify to the need to have a larger screen area than is built into the computer, which is usually around 13-16 inches.
One of the common complaints among laptop users concerns the screen size. On the one hand, the users are interested in a light computer with a standard screen, but on the other hand, they also want a larger screen, for the convenience of work. In the market there are creative solutions such as that of a company Mobile Pixel (imported to Israel by the Bug network). Such solutions simply add a screen or two externally to the laptop.
But this is not the solution Lenovo was looking for, and therefore its solution, revealed in the patent application, is much more creative. Lenovo simply created a laptop screen that can scroll itself on both sides and thus increase the existing screen area.

The technology of a scrolling screen already exists and we have seen several concept models of a smartphone (of Samsung and- LG For example) which comes with a scrolling screen. In the past Samsung introduced A laptop with a scrolling screen on one side. Here Lenovo took the same technology and simply implemented it into a laptop. The idea is simple and technologically possible, at the push of a button the screen knows how to open to the right and left side and thus physically increase the existing screen area. In the patent application, it was not recorded by what percentage the screen increased after opening it in full mode, but from the drawings it appears to almost double the original size.
