The opinion that “Greece is dying demographically and we are dealing with gay marriage”, expressed its president Greek Solution, Kyriakos Velopoulosspeaking in the Parliament, in the discussion of the bill on “equality in civil marriage”.
The president of the Hellenic Solution stated that 2023 was a shock year for births as, as he said, we had only 73,000, the “fewest recorded in the last 9 years”. He accused the ND of “worshiping the new religion of the WOKE agenda” and the government of invading the Church’s fields, even defining what sin is. “The Church is the Greek Society and it must speak”, said Kyriakos Velopoulos.
He noted that “if the same-sex marriage law is passed, Aeolus’ bag opens” as “rights should be recognized in: different toilets, surrogate mothers, third gender in schools”. The president of Hellenic Solution estimated that “there will not only be social, but also economic effects” and wondered “where will all this madness stop?”. He added that “if the law on gay marriage is passed, a quota for all genders should be included in parliament! How many are they; Does anyone know? Let him tell us…”, said Kyriakos Velopoulos. At the same time, he declared that he is committed that “when the Greek Solution governs, he will repeal this particular bill”.
“You operate with fear and terror,” he pointed out, addressing the government seats. “You say that those who do not vote in favor of the n/s, with the exception of Mr. Voridis, will be put out of the government in the reshuffle,” he emphasized, noting that the question that arises is: Why everyone, except for Mr. Voridis?
Then Kyriakos Velopoulos argued that as long as ND, PASOK, SYRIZA behave “like this towards society and what unites children with society”, the more they will move away from it and the closer they will come to collapse. He added that the Greek solution is “the only bulwark that can stop the collapse of the country”. Referring to the three parties, he said that they govern together, explaining that “whenever an anti-Greek, anti-people, anti-Christian bill needs to be voted on, the useful people of the other parties come and vote.”
Finally, the president of the Hellenic Solution, said that what bothers him is “a peculiar racism for the opposite point of view, in which general characterizations are given to the other point of view, labels are put on dissenters, making them an object of ridicule”. He added that “we accept you, you do not accept our diversity”.
